Revenue’s most recent list of tax defaulters for the period 1 October to 31 December 2025 names three individuals with farming as their occupation.
All three of these farmers were listed as having misused marked mineral oil, which is more commonly known as green diesel.
Noel Leddy of Bruskey, Carrigans, Ballinagh, Co Cavan and John O’Sullivan of Ballymacowen House, Clonakilty, Co Cork were named on the list for single fines of €2,500 each for the misuse of green diesel.

The list also names John McCarthy of Commons, Crookstown, Co Cork as having been fined €3,000 for one charge of misusing green diesel.
