Thursday’s cattle and calf sales at Templemore Mart has been cancelled, mart manager Joe Bergin has confirmed to the Irish Farmers Journal.
The sale if off due to “unforeseen circumstances”, with the mart expecting to be back up and running as normal next week. The mart has apologised to buyers and sellers for any inconvenience caused.
The mart was also due to hold a show and sale on Thursday 12 March however this is now expected to take place next Thursday 19 March.

Over 200 calves went through the ring at the Tipperary venue last week.
