Tirlán has confirmed the Tirlán mountain challenge 2025, a one-day charity hike, will tackle Lugnaquilla, in support of Aware, the national mental health organisation.
Tirlán has confirmed that the annual Tirlán mountain challenge 2025 is taking place on Friday 20 June 2025.
The event is a one-day charity hike, where over 80 Tirlán employees and farmer suppliers are set to ascend Lugnaquilla Mountain in Co Wicklow.
The event is a long-running key fundraising event and the team aims to raise €25,000 in support of the charity Aware, the national mental health organisation.
In 2024, the event raised €40,000 after completing a two-day climb in Connemara.
Support
Organiser James Brennan said that Tirlán is “grateful for the support we’ve received so far” and encouraged everyone to help reach the fundraising goal.
Aware CEO Stephen Butterly said that the support “not only funds our services, but also helps break the stigma around mental health”.
