In a statement to the Irish Farmers Journal, Tullamore Show and the National Livestock Show have confirmed a new five-year sponsorship deal with partners FBD Insurance.

"We are delighted to announce and celebrate the continuation of our sponsorship partnership, one that has been renewed with confidence, strengthened by progress and defined by shared success," a show spokesperson confirmed.

“Farmers are our backbone, livestock is our passion and success is our future.”

FBD Insurance became proud partners in introducing the 'Speakers' corner' in the newly established sustainable livestock village, allowing a platform for farming discussions on sustainable practices and practical solutions, with specific focus on generation renewal and succession planning.

Celebrating its 35th year, the show is scheduled this year for 9 August at the Butterfield Estate on the outskirts of Tullamore.

Situated on 250 acres of show grounds with a competition prize fund of €180,000, this year’s show promises to break the phenomenal records achieved in 2025 where over 800 trade stands and 65,000 people attended Ireland’s premier show.

'Thrilled'

Chair of Tullamore Show John Keena said: “We are thrilled to have FBD continue their title sponsorship of the National Livestock Show where the quality of livestock reflects the very best in Europe.

"Our unique partnership has allowed Tullamore Show to evolve with backing and support of FBD. Tullamore Show depends on the loyalty of all sponsors and for this we are very grateful.”

FBD CCO John Cahalan said: “Farming is at the heart of FBD and our continued partnership with the Tullamore Show reflects our long-standing commitment to farming families and rural communities.

"The Tullamore Show is a highlight of our own calendar each year and a great opportunity to meet and engage with our customers, while supporting an event that champions excellence in livestock, innovation and sustainability.”

Trade stands for the show are open and applications close on 1 May. Tickets are on sale now and are available online at www.tullamoreshow.com.
