The Sustainability Village at the FBD National Livestock Show in Tullamore is back for 2025.
This year, it is running a photo competition which aims to highlight the good work being done by farmers in relation to sustainability on their farms.
The competition is run in partnership with the Irish Farmers Journal with online entries being submitted via farmersjournal.ie.
The competition will open on Thursday 3 July and will run for four weeks until Friday 1 August.
Each week’s entries will be profiled on the website with the winners chosen at the FBD National Livestock Show in Tullamore on Sunday
10 August.
Tullamore Show’s Michael Dolan said “We want to highlight some of the good sustainability actions that are happening on farms across the country and showcase those actions in Tullamore on Sunday 10 August.”
A €1,000 prize fund is up for grabs along with free tickets to the event.
