A Tipperary farmer is walking from west Cork to the Cavan border for mental health this August.
John Wallace from Templederry is attempting to do the entire Beara to Breifne Way in just over two weeks.
He’ll make his way through eight counties on his journey to the Ulster border covering a whopping 550km along the way.

The community of Templederry has rallied behind John in his fundraising efforts and he is hoping for the same generosity from other communities along his route as he has no accommodation pre-arranged.
John’s motto is that help is out there if you’re willing to ask. Donations can be made on the Miles for Minds on idonate.ie.
