Following yesterday’s Tullamore Show, Tánaiste Simon Harris visited Co Meath where he tried his hand at threshing at the Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival.
The Tánaiste joined his ministerial colleague Helen McEntee at the show, where he climbed on a steam thresher to join in the display of the tradition.
The 50th annual event took place on Sunday 10 August 2025 on the grounds of the Moynalty Steam Threshing Museum and parkland in the heart of the village.
