St Anne’s GAA Club in Co Wexford are raffling off a vintage tractor as part of a fundraiser.
With tickets starting a €10, one successful punter will win either a restored Massey Ferguson 550 or €5,000 in cash.
The tractor, originally owned by a local farmer, was bought by the GAA club in 2020 for maintenance and mowing the pitches until it fell into disrepair last year. The Massey was then restored by Niall Brogan in Duncormick this year.

A spokesperson for St Annes’s GAA said: “The chairman came up with the idea that we’d do up [the tractor] and raffle her because we are putting in floodlights on a pitch and doing a big drainage job this year.
“It’s the same as farming; you can’t stand still; you have to keep pushing on. It’s a lifetime investment.”
The raffle will take place on Friday 31 October 2025.
