Friday
Daytime on Friday will bring a mix of showers and spells of sunshine, as conditions remain unsettled and mixed.
Showers will be most frequent and heavy over the southern half of the country, before becoming lighter and more isolated later in the day.
It will continue into the northwest and west of the country throughout the day.
There will be highest daytime temperatures of 11°C to 13°C, with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, stronger on Atlantic coasts and becoming northerly through the day.
Friday night will be a mostly dry night, with long clear spells, particularly in the south and east.
Scattered showers will continue to drift over northern and western coastal areas, with conditions staying dry elsewhere.
There will be lowest temperatures of 4°C to 8°C with moderate to fresh northwesterly winds, stronger on western and northern coasts.
Saturday
Met Éireann has forecast that Saturday will begin dry and bright for much of the country before widespread showers move down from the north.
The showers will be heavy at times, with some hail possible, though good spells of sunshine are likely in between.
There will be highest daytime temperatures of 8°C to 11°C, with moderate to fresh northwesterly winds.
It will stay mostly dry on Saturday night, but will turn cloudier, with lowest temperatures of 3°C to 6°C in mostly moderate northwesterly winds.
Sunday
Sunday brings a cloudy day, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle moving into the northwest in the morning and spreading southeastwards across the country through the day.
Scattered showers and clear spells will follow towards nightfall.
There will be highest temperatures of 10°C to 13°C, with moderate westerly winds, freshening and becoming westerly through the day.
Sunday night will likely be mostly dry, with clear spells developing and lowest temperatures will be 8°C to 12°C.
