Friday morning will be wet with rain continuing and flooding likely, according to Met Éireann.
Rain will become confined to the northern half of the country through the afternoon and evening with showers following from the south. Highest temperatures will be of 5°C to 10°C with moderate to fresh east or southeast winds.
Friday night will be mostly cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain in many areas. Lowest temperatures will be of 2°C to 7°C. Some mist and hill fog will form with mostly light to moderate easterly breezes.
Saturday
Met Éireann has said that Saturday will be mostly cloudy with some showers, especially in the east and south.
Some brighter intervals also, the best of these to the west and north. Highest temperatures will be of 6°C to 10°C generally with mostly light to moderate easterly or variable breezes. Saturday night will be dry apart from a few showers. Patches of mist or fog will develop. Lowest temperatures of 2°C to 7°C.
Sunday
On Sunday morning, mist and fog will gradually clear. Bright or sunny intervals will develop. A few showers will develop also, mainly in the south. Highest temperatures of 8°C to 10°C with light to moderate southeasterly or variable breezes. Sunday night will be cold and mainly dry. With some patches of mist or fog. Lowest temperatures will be of 0°C to 6°C.
