It will be a cloudy day on Friday, with some hazy sunshine and scattered showers mainly affecting Munster, Leinster and east Ulster.

Showers will become more isolated into the evening, with highs of 10°C to 15°C in light northerly or variable winds.

On Friday night, it will be mostly dry, with some cloud in the south. Temperatures will see lows of 4°C to 8°C in light to moderate northerly winds, increasing fresh at times in parts of the south.

Saturday

“There is uncertainty in the forecast for Saturday, but current indications suggest dry weather with sunny spells for many areas, but with cloudier conditions with the chance of a shower in southern areas,” Met Éireann said.

Conditions will be breezy, with a moderate to fresh northerly wind and highs of 9°C to 14°C.

Saturday night will be mainly dry with clear spells, but some cloud in southern coastal areas, with showers possible here too. Northerly winds will be light to moderate, with lows of 3°C to 8°C.

Sunday

Sunday morning is set to be mostly dry, with any cloud and showers in southern areas clearing early in the morning. Cloud will increase from the north during the day, with possible isolated showers, with highs of 10°C to 14°C in light to moderate northerly breezes.

It will become cloudy on Sunday night, with light rain in northern parts, staying dry in other areas, with lows of 3°C to 8°C in light north to northwest winds.

Next week

Met Éireann has forecast cloud and sunny spells for Monday, with some light showers in the south. Temperatures will see highs of 9°C to 14°C, cooler in the north in light to moderate northerly winds.
