Former US president Barack Obama’s was awarded the Freedom of the City of Dublin last week.

While there are no financial benefits attached to the award, The Dealer thinks the best perk is the right to graze sheep on common ground within the city boundaries, including College Green and St Stephen’s Green.

Obama’s cousin John Healy in Moneygall has a fine of flock of sheep and I’m sure he could lend him a few hoggets or store lambs to do a job over the winter.
