Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rain warning for heavy rainfall to 18 counties for a full 24 hours.
The counties affected are Carlow, Cavan, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Leitrim, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow.
This warning is set to last from 4am Tuesday 9 July and will expire on Wednesday 10 July at 4am.
