On this week’s Young Stock Podcast, Sarah McIntosh sits down with Lucy Kirby, Ciara O’Driscoll, Niamh O’Sullivan and Ellen O’Neill from Sacred Heart Secondary School after they were crowned the winners of this year’s school competition.
The four students discuss their winning topic, ‘Increasing awareness of the Certified Irish Angus brand’ and the importance of bridging the gap between farmers and consumers. They also talk about their plans to pursue agricultural science in college, having completed the competition.
