The FCI/RSA tractor roadworthiness information event, which was originally due to be held on Thursday 17 October at Pallaskenry Agricultural College in Limerick (Eircode V94 V8N3), has been postponed. The event will now be staged in conjunction with the Teagasc contractor hedge-cutting event at the college next Wednesday, 23 October.

From 9am to 11am, the FCI/RSA tractor roadworthiness meeting will take place, in advance of the contractor hedge-cutting event at the same venue.

The two events coming together will give contractors extra value from their day at Pallaskenry College.

The roadworthiness meetings are being held to inform contractors of legislation required for tractors and machinery to be legal on the road. RSA inspectors will be there on the day to answer all questions.

From 11am, the hedge-cutting event will take place. Advice on hedgerow management, hedge cutter setup and hedge cutter operational costs will be among the topics discussed.

An additional FCI/RSA tractor roadworthiness testing information event will be held in Ballyhaise College, Cavan (Eircode H12 E392) on Tuesday 22 October from 9am until 11am and all contractors are invited to attend.
