The Dealer was told this week the auctioneer Paul Cooke is back banging the gavel at an auction house in Belfast selling used cars.
Mr Cooke previously owned the well-known machinery auction house Paul Cooke Auctions in Naas, Co Kildare, which closed its doors before Christmas, leaving a number of farmers and creditors unpaid.
Bord na Móna was also owed money, and stated it was pursuing legal action.
