Energy supplier Pinergy has announced today (Thursday) that Philip Connor will head up its newly established energy services division. Part of Philip’s new role will be to manage and develop the portfolio of energy technology suppliers that Pinergy has partnered with, including solar energy, wind energy, heat pumps and LED lighting systems etc. Successfully working with farmers and the farming industry will be a key part of what success looks like for Pinergy in this newly established business.

Pinergy is aiming to establish a strong footing in the smart management of energy on Irish farms, particularly dairy farms. Rather than just competing on price, Pinergy wants to work with farmers on a more long-term basis to help them reduce overall energy consumption on farms.

Commenting on Philip’s appointment, Enda Gunnell, CEO of Pinergy, said: “We are delighted to recruit a person of the calibre of Philip to such an important role within our business. Philip brings a wealth of experience and expertise in renewable technologies, system design, energy efficiency solutions and project management. At Pinergy, we believe the future is all about using clever technologies that drive reductions in energy consumption. Philip shares our passion for energy innovation and we look forward to building out our energy services division under Philip’s leadership.”
