The location is 30km north of Dublin city centre. It’s is an area of very good land and intensive farming.

The farm is divided into five fields, all with clean, good quality pasture. Two of the fields are in permanent pasture since the 1950s. The other three have been in pasture since 2010, after previously being in tillage.

A substantial drainage upgrade was carried out in 2022, with 5.2km of drains and 680 tonnes of drainage stone placed, followed by mole ploughing, and reseededing with multi-species sward.

The fields have stock proof fencing and are sub-divided into paddocks, with water laid onto each one. The farm also offers road frontage along its southern boundary.
