Three mid-sized properties within a short drive of Kilcock in Co Kildare are up for auction. One is residential. The area is popular because of good motorway, train and bus connections.

First up on July 4 will be a cottage on c27ac on the L5028 at Pitchfordstown. There is one gate to the land and a path to the cottage. The land is in one block and in grass. “The cottage has been vacant for five years and should qualify for the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant,” auctioneer Will Coonan says. The guide is €600,000.

The agents are also offering c27.3ac at Kilmore, Kilcock on the same day. On the R156, it’s 5km from Summerhill and 8km from Kilcock. It is in on block, in permanent pasture and has a yard with sheds. The guide is €15,000/ac.

The third property is c30ac at Ballykeelan, outside Tirmoghan village. It’s in one block and in permanent pasture.

It has over 400m frontage on a local road and goes for auction a week later, on Thursday, 11 July. The guide is €275,000.
