Two farms are coming up for auction in Co Meath with auctioneers Coonan Property.
The larger holding is 56ac at Ladyrath, Wilkinstown, Navan, with a farmyard.
This farm lies in six fields and is currently in grass with stock-proof fencing throughout.
This land is suitable for any agricultural or equestrian purposes, the auctioneers say.
The farmyard has winter housing for 100 cattle. The buildings include a three-bay hayshed with double lean-to, a five-bay double barn with lean-to and a central feed passage. There is also a machinery shed measuring 45ft x 65ft, an open yard with cattle crush and a dungstead.
It will be offered as one lot at auction with a guide price of €650,000.
The larger nearby towns of Slane and Navan provide access to secondary schools, supermarkets, a hospital, hotels and eateries.
The second holding is 47ac at Scalestown, Dunshaughlin. This is a valuable location, close to the border between counties Meath and Dublin. The land has road frontage on to the public road, the L1006 Ratoath to Skryne local road.
The holding is laid out in three fields. It is currently in use for tillage but would suit any agricultural or equestrian use.
The property will be offered in one lot at auction. The guide price is €700,000.
The auction of both properties will take place on 16 October at 3pm in the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan, Co Meath, unless sold beforehand.
