Details around the Common Agriculture Policy, unfair trading practices and an upcoming trade mission to China will be detailed by the European Commissioner for Agriculture at an event in Kilkenny this Friday.

Phil Hogan will be the keynote speaker at the IFA-European Commission Citizens' Dialogue at 7pm in the O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Clubhouse.

Farmers, agribusinesses and the general public are invited to attend the discussion.

Jim Bergin, CEO of Glanbia Ireland, James Brett from Brett Brothers Ltd, Philip Tallon from Dawn Meats and Professor Thia Hennessy from UCC will also be speaking.

Irish Farmers Journal Editor Justin McCarthy will be moderator for a session with Commissioner Hogan and IFA president Joe Healy.
