A number of weather warnings have been issued by Met Éireann for the coming days, as temperatures drop and winds increase.

A status yellow snow and ice warning has been put in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo. It came into effect at 10am on Thursday and will remain in place until 7pm on Friday 4 December.

A status yellow wind warning will then come into place for these counties, excluding Leitrim, from 11am on Friday until 11pm on Friday. North to northwest winds are expected to strengthen on Friday, gusting up to 100km/h, with a slight risk of coastal flooding.

Southwest

Later on Friday evening, the wind warning will be extended further south to counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, and Limerick. It will remain in place from 4pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday and will see gusts up to 100km/h.
