Nicola FitzGibbon and Irish Sport Horse Shantonagh won the second leg of the ISH Studbook Series at Barnadown last weekend. Shantonagh is by Power Blade out of Diamond Explosion, by King of Diamonds, and was bred by Dermot Forde, Co Cavan.

Second was Brookwood Supersonic, ridden by Sean Kavanagh, owned and bred by Pat and Clare Duffy. Supersonic and Kavanagh had an exceptional week, coming second in the RDS qualifier in Armagh a few days earlier. Third place in Barnadown went to Always On My Mind, ridden by James Hogg, and owned and bred by Edgar Hogg.

In all, 72 horses competed in the five-year-olds, 45 in the six-year-olds and 27 in the seven-year-olds.
