The Brahman Express docked at the Co Louth port this Monday evening. Live exporter Viastar is expected to load 3,000 weanlings on the ship this week for the Turkish market.
This is the Brahman Express’s second sailing from Ireland, following a previous shipment of 4,000 cattle at the start of this month.
Viastar is expected to fill two further shipments to Turkey this year under a contract running until the end of December.
