Met Éireann has issued a status orange wind warning for Cork, Clare, Limerick and Kerry.
Storm Hannah, is set to hit our shores on Friday 26 April at 4pm.
Heavy rain, squalls, gusts and gales are expected to have an impact overnight until 5am on Saturday morning.
Average wind speeds of 65-80km/h and gusts of up to 130km/h.
Coastal regions in Munster are expected to be the worst affected by strong northwesterly winds, but Met Éireann has warned that parts of Connacht could also be hit.

There is also a status yellow wind warning in place for Connacht, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly, Donegal, Tipperary and Waterford.
The warning is in place from Friday 26 April at 11pm to 9am the following morning.
