Quinn Property sold 88ac and a residence at Coolnahorna, Enniscorthy, recently for €1.75m, or €20,000/ac. Bids were invited first for the entire and it went up to €1.35m, with this offer coming from a Tipperary farmer.

At this point the auction switched to the three lots. Lot 1 – which was 47ac – went on the market at €600,000 and went to €770,000, selling to a north Wexford businessman.

Lot 2 was the house and yard on seven acres. It went on the market at €500,000 and was sold for €615,000 to an accountant buying in trust. Lot 3 – 30ac – was sold for €365,000 to a local farmer.

Gorey

Quinn Property also sold 23ac with a residence at Glenogue, Gorey, again at auction, for a total of €335,000. “There was strong interest in the house because it has coastal views,” auctioneer David Quinn said.

Tipperary
