The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has reported that a teenager has died as result of a farm accident in Bulaglass, Newtown, Co Tipperary on 21 January.

The teenager is believed to have been 15 years old, and a spokesperson for the HSA said that it’s thought the teenager fell from the back of the tractor.

The HSA believe that this is the first farm related death of 2018. Last year 24 people tragically lost their lives in farm accidents, with over half of those over the age of 65.
