Met Éireann is forecasting a mostly cloudy day, with rain in the west and northwest spreading eastwards during the morning and early afternoon, accompanied by fresh to strong southerly winds. Scattered showers and some sunny spells will follow. Midday temperatures of 9°C to 12°C will fall later as winds turn west to northwesterly and moderate.
