Dutch loader and attachment manufacturer Tobroco-Giant has taken the wraps off a new G2300 HD and G2300 X-TRA HD model loader. The new model sits in between the existing G2200 HD+ and G2500 HD.

The new machine is powered by a four-cylinder 26hp Kubota Stage V engine. The loader is hydrostatic four-wheel drive and has a limited slip on both axles. Giant says the machine has 8t planetary axles and a traction force of 23,000N. The G2300 HD comes with a tipping load of 1,595kg, while the X-TRA version has a 2,260kg capacity.

Built to work in restricted environments, the new model has an operating width of 108cm on standard tyres. Operating weight is 2,300kg and 2,350kg (X-TRA version). The machines are equipped with a safety roof as a standard, which can optionally be upgraded to a complete cab certified on the international ROPS/FOPS-standard. The Dutch firm offers more than 200 different attachments to go along with the G2300 models.

The loader has a starting price in the region of €32,500 (£27,732) plus VAT. Giant builds around 2,000 machines each year and the brand is imported and distributed in Ireland by BallyWard Plant Services in Castlewellan, Co Down.
