Bailey Machinery Sales (BMS), located in Rathdowney, Co Laois, are dealers for Slurrykat machinery, Prodig and more recently Lemken Crop Care equipment.

BMS will have on display a 4,750gal tri-axle slurry tanker. The tanker is coupled with an impressive 24m dribble bar with built-in automatic slope compensation for uneven terrain.

The tanker is seated on tri-axle front and rear steer axles, each fitted with 750 R30.5 floatation tyres. Dual air and hydraulic brakes and power beyond hydraulics are included on the tanker.

The 8in autofill turbo head and 16,000l vacuum pump are equipped for fast filling times.

Once in the field, the tanker has an automated field system for operation along with a SKIARC rate control system for exact application rates.

The tanker is also fitted with an NIR slurry-sensing system which reads the slurry’s nutrient values and spreads according to the desired application. The NIR system has the capabilities to work with soil maps and match site-specific nitrogen requirements.

Other features of the tanker include a ball and spoon hitch, top fill hatch, LED work lights and folding rear lights.

On the Lemken side of things, BMS will display a trailed Vega sprayer, a mounted Sirius sprayer equipped with an additional front tank. BMS will also showcase one of the first weed control system from Lemken since its acquisition of weed control specialists Steketee.
