The Tullyallen tractor run was established in 2015 and has been a great success every year since.

Just over a year after well-known Meath contractor Gerry Healy passed away, his legacy in the form of the Tullyallen tractor run has continued, having raised a total of of €115,465.50 since the first run.

After the passing of Gerry, the volunteers of Tullyallen tractor run vowed to make the 2019 event bigger and better than ever.

The event which takes place each Christmas welcomed over 300 entries of vehicles in 2019, subsequently raising an incredible amount of €28,060.35 for two local charities,Tullyallen Carers Group and the local Oncology Unit in Tullyallen, Co Louth.

This year, COVID-19 delayed the presentation of the cheques to the local charities, which took place on 18 August.

The Tullyallen Carers Group was presented with a cheque for €3,000 and the local Oncology Unit received €25,060.35.
