Two small parcels of farmland are coming up for auction in Co Meath this month.

One is 28ac of tillage land at Bellewstown, the other is 9ac at Longwood.

Both are for sale from REA TE Potterton and they will be offered for sale on Wednesday 20 October at 3pm at the firm’s auction room in Trim.

Bellewstown

The 28ac farm is at Newgaggard Lane. The land lies just off the R150 Duleek to Julianstown road. The area is 2km from Bellewstown, 5km from Duleek and 12km from Drogheda. The M1 motorway is 10km away at junction 7.

There is a derelict house on the holding. The land is good quality and suited for all farming enterprises. It is laid out in three main fields. There is extensive road frontage and a stream along one border.

The holding will be offered for sale in lots as follows: Lot 1 will be the derelict residence on 1ac with a guide price of €70,000 to €80,000.

Lot 2 will 27ac with a guide price of €10,000/ac to €12,000/ac.

Lot 3 will be the entire.

Dual road frontage

The 9ac holding is at Cullentra, outside Longwood. It is 4km from both Rathcore and Longwood, 11km from Enfield and 14km from Trim.

The 9ac at Cullentra is in two fields and is good-quality grassland.

The land is laid out in two fields, bordered by mature trees and hedges and is good-quality grassland. The land has extensive dual road frontage and comes with a guide price of €12,000/ac.

REA TE Potterton is also selling Clondoogan House on 4ac at Summerhill, Co Meath, by private treaty.

Clondoogan House near Summerhill has been fully restored by its current owners.

The two-storey house was built in the mid-1800s and has been fully restored, retaining many of its original features. The house has four spacious bedrooms, three of them with original fireplaces. The property has a number of farm buildings including two large haysheds.
