Union meets Müller chief

NFU Scotland met the chief executive of Müller Milk Ingredients to stress their disappointment at the dropping of 14 Aberdeenshire farmers and the large increase in haulage.

NFU Scotland met Dr Patrick Müller, the chief executive of Müller Milk Ingredients, to stress their disappointment that 14 Aberdeenshire dairies have had their notice served and the scale of the new haulage charges for suppliers coming in next month. The meeting at Semex 2020 dairy conference in Glasgow discussed Müller’s intentions to add more value to the dairy sector through product innovation, targeted marketing and customer price negotiation.
