A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued by Met Éireann for Longford, Cavan, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
A spell of rain will lead to accumulations of 25mm to 35mm of rainfall over a 24-hour period.
The warning is valid from Sunday 20 May at 7pm to Monday 21 May at 7pm.
