Grass 2026 is a brand new, live grass harvesting event brought to you by the Irish Farmers Journal, supported by FBD Insurance.
This is one of the largest events that the Irish Farmers Journal team has ever undertaken, and will take place on Wednesday 29 April 2026 in Cuffesgrange, Co Kilkenny. Grass 2026 is a national demonstration event with thousands of farmers, contractors and machinery enthusiasts expected to attend.
On the day, visitors can expect to see the entire silage-making process live, from mowing, tedding, raking and harvesting with balers, forage wagons and forage harvesters from all industry leading brands.
In addition to live commentary throughout the day, there will also be live loader and bale-handling displays taking place back at the pit demonstration area.
Adjacent to that, there will be a large trade village where all major machinery manufacturers and suppliers will be on hand.
