In March, milk production was ramping up after a tricky start to the year on the Greenfield demonstration farm in Co Kilkenny. Jack Kennedy had this update at a crucial juncture for the farm.

In the summer, Peter McCann visited John Oliver, a Co Derry farmer who recently converted from sucklers and sheep to dairying.

As TAMS II applications went through and prices improved, dairy farmers made investments. We visited Louise Young’s new underpass in Co Laois.
