It’s a busy time for Macra celebrations, with no less than two high-profile weddings taking place.

Derrie Dillon, who deals with agricultural affairs in Macra and is the current ASA president, got married on 27 December to his fiancée Michelle O’Callaghan, who ran for Macra president against Sean Finan. Then on 9 January, Macra president James Healy is to tie the knot with his bethrothed Marie Murphy, chair of Avondhu Macra.

It’s a busy few weeks for those in the young farmer association who are attending the nuptials.
