Met Éireann are forecasting rain to clear eastwards throughout Friday morning. Drier and sunnier intervals will increase from the west, with just a few light showers and highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees.

After a windy but dry night on Friday night, Saturday will be a mild and windy day. Southerly gales are forecast in western areas for a time and rain will develop in western counties. It is forecast to stay largely dry and bright in eastern counties, however rain will transfer eastwards on Saturday night.

It will be mild on Sunday with lighter winds and a bright and mostly dry day is expected through central and western areas. However, rain will affect eastern counties, with a danger of heavy falls at times. Highest temperatures of 16 or 17 degrees are forecast in light winds.

Management notes
