Met Éireann is forecasting temperatures of 27-30°C on Friday. Parts of the midwest and west will reach temperatures of up to 32°C.

Evening the temperatures of between 13-17°C are expected overnight, with shallow fog patches appearing early Saturday morning.

Saturday

Saturday is forecast to bring hazy sunshine, with a chance of showers along the northwest coast later in the day. Temperatures in the east will reach between 22°C and 26°C, with highs of 28°C elsewhere.

Sunday

Mostly dry with hazy sunshine, but showers will affect western and southern areas on Sunday. Heavy showers are signalled to come up from the south affecting Munster. Temperatures will remain high, but start to decline somewhat into the afternoon, with highs of 22-26°C in the east and south.

Outlook

Hazy sunshine is set to persist on Monday, with light to moderate breezes. Temperatures up to 26°C, highest in the northeast. Warm weather is set to continue early next week, with slightly lower temperatures than this week.
