According to Met Éireann, tonight will be cloudy with patches of drizzles, mist and fog. Temperatures will be 8°C to 9°C in the east and north and 10°C to 12°C in the south and west.

Saturday is set to be a cloudy day with patchy rain and drizzle affecting mainly Atlantic counties.

The best chance of some sunny breaks will be across the east and midlands. There will also be unusually high October temperatures of 15°C to 17°C in light to moderate southwest breezes.

Saturday night will see rain and drizzle move into the west and north and extend to other areas overnight. It will be a mild night with temperatures of 8°C to 12°C.

Sunday is predicted to be dull and damp to begin. In the north and northwest it will be wet but drier and brighter conditions will develop from late morning.

Temperatures will reach 13°C to 16°C but turn cold overnight dropping to lows of 2°C. This will see some grass frost mainly in the east and south.
