The Dealer hears that athletes across Munster are gearing up for the All-Ireland Churn Rolling Championships in Tipperary town on Saturday, 15 July.
Up to 40 competitors will take part in the Tipperary Co-op 100m sprint event which involves rolling a 44lb, 20-gallon churn down the main street of the town.
With divisions for children, ladies and men, the fastest of the competitors will cross the line in around 13 seconds.

Farmer and Tipperary camogie star Geraldine Kinane took the ladies title for the past two years running, while Kilfeacle Rugby’s Brian Roche has done the double in the men’s division.
