A spokesperson for Euro Auctions told the Irish Farmers Journal that a £25,000 reward has been put forward for information that leads to the return of the lorry and diggers.

The spokesperson said that the lorry was a white Scania R560 with a 6x4 tractor unit and a grey Faymonville four-axle low loader. The three diggers were all Hitachi ZX 130 13t excavators and were 2013, 2011 and 2008 models.

Detective Sgt Keith Monaghan from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said that the police are currently investigating the incident and are appealing for information.

Anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious around the Omagh area early on Monday morning is being urged to contact the police by calling 101 or call the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
