There were more than 110 cows on offer, with well-fleshed younger Friesian cows breaking the €1.35/kg mark.

Prices ranged from €120 under the €/kg to €490 over the €/kg, with most of those on offer selling for close to €200 with their weight.

  • Angus and Herefords dominated the bullock sale and there was strong demand for these, with prices ranging from €1.84/kg up to €2.10/kg for spring-2015-born stock.

    Friesians sold from €1.50/kg up to €1.60/kg, while continental bullocks were extremely scarce.
