Hundreds of homes in Kilkenny will open their doors for a night of food and fun this October bank holiday weekend. The Night of 1,000 Feasts aims to get people together to celebrate food and friendship, and raise money for a good cause. The feasts will raise funds for the Town of Food project, a community-led initiative aimed at promoting Kilkenny as an important food destination. The event is running as part of the Savour Kilkenny Food Festival, which is on from 24-27 October. To host a feast, register online at www.townoffood.com. Registered hosts will be entered into a draw to win a prize. CL
