To meet the busy lives of farmers and commuters alike, the Glenamaddy pastoral council has decided operate a drive-through service. The church will offer people who can’t attend mass the opportunity to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday 1 March without having to leave their cars. You swing in one gate, the padre does the necessary as you wait in your tractor or car, and you exit another gate. It runs from 8am to 9.30am outside Glenamaddy church.
Lenten box
A drive-through Lenten Petition box will also be placed on the grounds of Glenamaddy church.
