Prices for green and white diesel as well as kerosene have crept up by nearly 4c/litre over the past month.

However, the most recent quotes from Irish suppliers have shown an easing off in prices. This is likely a result of global markets easing.

Prices (ex-VAT) for green diesel went from an average of 48.18c/l at the start of September to reach 54.24c/l last week. However, quotes this week have been at an average price of 52.69c/l.

White diesel has gone from 89.39c/l (ex VAT) in September to 93.93c/l this week. The average price last week was 94.11c/l.

Prices this week for kerosene are averaging 50.05c/l.
