The Irish Farmers Journal understands that the IFA will remain in Agriculture House overnight on Wednesday night as it continues its sit-in protest.
Six IFA officials are volunteering to stay overnight as the association ramps up its efforts to get clarity on the long-proposed tillage crisis fund.
The IFA announced this Wednesday that following a meeting of its grain committees it would occupy the Kildare St office until it obtained an urgent meeting with Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed.

On Wednesday, a Department of Agriculture spokesperson confirmed to the Irish Farmers Journal that the reported details were in line with the scheme it has now drawn up.
While the members on the ground have given a committment to remain in place overnight, it remains to be seen if any offer from the Department of Agriculture will be made tonight to meet with the IFA.
