Bord Bia’s beef specialist Joe Burke joined Macra president Seán Finan to present the winners with their prizes.

Edmond Curtin from Freemount, Co Cork, won the senior beef stockjudging event.

Darragh Barron from South Kildare won the under-23 beef stockjudging event.

Conor O’Mahony from Bantry, Co Cork, was runner-up in the senior beef stockjudging event.

Michael Comerford from Kilkenny City was runner-up in the under-23 beef stockjudging event.
