Met Éireann is forecasting a mostly cloudy day, with a little patchy light rain and drizzle in places, particularly on western and northern coasts. Hill and coastal fog will be present also, mainly on parts of the south and west coasts.

However, many areas will be dry, with some bright spells developing, especially in inland parts of the south and east. Maximum temperatures of 16°C to 22°C are forecast in light to moderate southwest breezes.
