A new initiative called Dairy Day has been launched by the Irish Farmers Journal.
The theme of the day is focused on developing solutions for a growing dairy industry. The one-day event will be held on Thursday 23 November at the Punchestown Event Centre in County Kildare.
Ireland’s dairy industry has gone from producing 5bn litres of milk per year in 2015 to over 7bn litres in 2018.
With such enthusiasm and growth comes opportunities and challenges.
This event aims to showcase all that is good about the dairy industry and find solutions for farmers to emerging challenges and trends.
Trade stands, a skills hub, live demonstrations and expert debates among national and international visitors will make Dairy Day an unmissable event for dairy farmers and the dairy industry.
